My mother once made dried flower arrangements and other such crafts to earn a little extra money. These weeds are one of the plants she would use in her arrangements.

One of my favorite places at grandma's is my grandpa's shed. My uncle still uses it, but some things have not changed since before he died. The smell of metal, rust, oil and dirt remind me of my grandpa. he always smelled like his shed and outside.

day42

Grandma told me these cute little desks were those used in the old publc school there in Bern where my great grandmother was the first teacher.

day41

day40

My uncles gas tank collection, I count at least nine

day39

It is spring when the calves are here.

day38

I love this beautiful area. It still has some of the original homes built by the settelers, many of which were my own ancestors.

day37

We saw a huge

bird fly over the house at dark and land up on top of the barn. He is a massive owl with the wingspan of around 3 feet. I couldnt figure out the camera setting and it was getting dark quickly but this is our owl perched up there.

day36

I seem always to be falling behind on this project and this is my largest gap yet. I was running out of ideas and bored of the same subjects to shoot. However this last weekend I spent in a lovely place called Bern Idaho and while there I photographed A Lot so now I can do some major make up days!

This is my grandma's house and the barn taken from just down the lane near the church.

day31

Hardworking men, they need naps too.

day30

Daffodil's will forever remind me of England and make me feel homesick for that beautiful place. In the country there these lushes yellow flowers volunteer and grow everywhere. Along the sides of the roads, in ditches, in fields. Springtime to me is daffodil yellow.

day29

Strawberry Shortcake, is in a word, Delicious.

day28

Im on the constant lookout for springtime signs. Im starting to see flowers coming up, but in my little yard Im still only finding flowers on the weeds. But I loved the bright light, color contrast and shadows in this one.
