One of my favorite places at grandma's is my grandpa's shed. My uncle still uses it, but some things have not changed since before he died. The smell of metal, rust, oil and dirt remind me of my grandpa. he always smelled like his shed and outside.

I love this beautiful area. It still has some of the original homes built by the settelers, many of which were my own ancestors.

We saw a huge

bird fly over the house at dark and land up on top of the barn. He is a massive owl with the wingspan of around 3 feet. I couldnt figure out the camera setting and it was getting dark quickly but this is our owl perched up there.
